Why do you feel Reagan should be #1. There have to be reasons. I feel he was bad due to his terrible record on labor. He took away many rights labor needs to be able to negotiate with business. For exampel, Duty to Bargain.

Your completely wrong, Bush and Cheney haven't done a bad job and although Iraq wasnt directly responsible for 9/11 it still had a hand in it. Sadam Husein aloud terorists to move through his countr,y also he kept a blind eye to the terrorist cells in his country and even gave money to al kaeda. Bush has done something that no other president has done before. He has taken a stand against terrorists in both afghanistan and iraq and has delivered them a hard blow. They have far less money and supplies and people then they had before and are less organized, especially in Iraq. Baghdad for example is almost completely rid of all al kaeda forces. So keep this is mind every time you have a sick thought that Bush just enjoys sending his own troops into danger and that he doesnt care about each and every one of them. Remember those men and women including myself one day, volunteered to go and fight no one made them.

also...you said you joined to defend your country. Wow! What a badass! Soldiers dont get to choose the wars they fight in. They choose to be in the army to fight in 'potential' wars. So pretty much...you are opposite than you thought. You are the most selfish soldier ever. What if a major city gets bombed again? Are you gunna say that it is 'unjust' and not fight? Hell no! Saddam violated the peace treaty of the 1st gulf war 17 times, harbored terrorists (including Osama Bin Laden), trained terrorists in Iraq (which is why we found terrorist training camps in Iraq), and had helped Al Qaeda in the past. Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, but he was willing to help out Al Qaeda which is why they had a safe haven in northeastern Iraq. All those facts were on the table before we went in. Saddam didn't cooperate with the UN inspectors who were trying to find out if he had WMDs. I don't know what you call "unjust" but that to me doesn't seem unjust. And you have no proof that he's in the pocket of Haliburton. Show me where they paid him money.

Look at the conflict in Vietnam...ask over 50,000 families how he helped them. Yea, he passed some great policies, but he pressed the Vietnam war and continued sending troops into an unpopular war and a war we did not belong in...then the troops came home to Unappreciative citizens who spit on the soldiers as they come off the planes (not literally to my knowledge, but you get the idea) calling them baby killers and this and that. Yet, they (citizens) don't realize that we, as soldiers, do not choose the wars we fight, we do what is ordered and asked of us by our leaders. Vietnam vets are the most under appreciated soldiers in the history of our country. It is a sad thing.

First of all, learn to spell out your worlds correctly. To the point, how is "Nobody is looking at us"? We are the greatest country in the world, and i know how you think Bush is an "ideot" but what has he done? Imposed war? Well what would have happened if he hadn't? There were safe havens in Northern Iraq where Al-Qaeda was kept. Thousands of insurgents have been taken care of, and i think that we have done a pretty good job. The cost is a down side, but its 2008, we have the most advanced weapons of all time now, we are going to need to get down into our pockets to keep us safe.

Although I could not say that George Bush is in the top 10 of presidents, I will say that he has shown a strength and commitment to defend this country when so many are too fearful to stand strong for this country, AND the American people. 911 showed us what complacency can do to Americans. George Bush stood strong against those who wish to harm this country. As a result there has not been a successful attack against the United States for 7 plus years. It is amazing to me that protecting men, women and children from another 911 has no relevance to so many. The fact that so many are so quick to point to the state of our economy today, verse the security we have experienced, and blame this administration for what has "CHANGED” since our democratic congress has been in office, and yet those same people fail to acknowledge the fact that no American civilians have died from a terrorist attack since 911, speaks volumes to me about the focus of this country, and the direction that focus could take us. Where is the appreciation for how the president and our brave military men and women have committed themselves to protecting the American people? Where is the willingness to acknowledge the economic growth, the record low unemployment, and the booming real estate market we had up until the democratic congress, (committed to change), took over.
Well here is the "change", yet no one wants to take credit for it now. They do however want us to ignore the growth from 2000 to 2006, and blame this administration for all that has gone wrong since.
People can ignore the facts, but people can not change them, and history will keep the record straight. Is George Bush one of the top 10 presidents, I can not say. Is he worthy of the hatred and bashing that so many are guilty of, I think not. It may however take another horrific act against Americans, as a result of the complacency of another democratic administration and congress, for people to gain perspective, and appreciation for what George W has done for this country.

Most people who use Bush as a scapegoat for every single problem in the United States do not understand what little control over those dynamics the President actually has. Bush's only mistake is getting involved in a necessary war (a war for oil) that did not produce any clear results.
