Top Ten (10) Roads to Quick Self Destruction

We are not here for a long time, but we are here for a good time, stated Rockstar Tommy Lee. Americans often take Lee's words to action disregarding each day even the most basic requirements of human existence. Abusing toxins, sacrificing necessities and leading reckless lifestyles create a daily danger to us all. Here are the Top Ten Roads to Quick Self Destruction.

10. Not Visiting the Doctor

Most Americans consistently agree that their health is not worth saving thirty minutes of the 526,000 minutes to take a once per year physical exam. It’s a highly effective tactic if medical consultation and early disease detection are important in your lifestyle. Your Doctor will also reiterate everything on this list as being self destruction.

9. Lack of Brain Exercise

Reading, tackling sudokus and performing cross are essential behaviors in order to avoid Alzheimer’s. This degenerative brain disease attacks and cripples people who live long enough and reading, mind games and puzzles are known to ward off its effects.

8. Insufficient Sleep

Insufficient sleep (less than 7 to 8 hours a night) has been scientifically linked to many different health issues, including diabetes, obesity and cancer. Mental fatigue due to lack of sleep is one of the primary factors for vehicular accidents as is alcohol. Also, the lack of sleep gives you more time to engage in destructive behavior.

7. Driving a Lot

Most people are unaware that driving kills far more people aged 1 to 35 than anything else including flying. This statistic could drop to zero if everyone stayed home. Obviously this would not work, therefore people hit the road, ignore the speed limit while talking and texting on their phone and eating. Just don’t forget to buckle up!

6. Drinking a Lot

The occasional drink of alcohol especially wine has been found to be beneficial to your health. But for too many people abuse the occasional and overdo the two drink per day limit. Including alcoholism too much booze will cause diabetes, liver damage and is the primary cause of over 100,000 deaths per year. MODERATION!

5. Too Much Stress

Developing more stress in your life is an ideal way to subject your body to all types of diseases. Chronic stress forces the adrenal glands to work excessively which eventually exhausts the glands thereby inhibiting the immune system. So stop worrying about everything, before your system falls under an irreparable attack.

4. Having Lots of Reckless Sex

Having sex in itself has proven to be good for you as a stress reliever and its obvious reproductive functions. It’s how you do it that could lead to life or death. The self destructor does not use protection and completely ignores the partner’s sexual history. On top of that, the individual ignores the annual health exam. Twelve million Americans contract sexually transmitted diseases each year. Many of these diseases can leave the victim infertile and at least one AIDS can lead to death. For your sake go to the store now and purchase some protection!

3. Watching TV

Television is obviously very entertaining, however many people remain on the couch for hours at a time multiple days a week watching the TV. The average American spends over 9 years of his life watching TV. Those years could and should be spent exercising. Limit your TV viewing, because too much leads to obesity and many other physical disorders.

2. Smoking

Anything nicknamed a cancer stick can’t be good for you. Tobacco and smoking related illnesses are America’s number two killer and the most preventable. Just one cigarette immediately decreases circulation to your extremities while increasing your blood pressure. That’s just One…and to think some people smoke two packs a day!

1. Eating Junk Food

400,000 Americans last year were able to kill themselves based on almost only what they ate. Heart disease is consistently America’s number one killer. It should be noted that some of that comes from genetics, however most of the obesity and overweight Americans comes from the high sugar, calorie and fat food we put into our bodies. Therefore, the most effective way to destroy yourself is to just keep eating those doughnuts.
