Many of us are pestered throughout our daily lives by people seeking money on the street, at the mall, outside the restaurant wherever. Most of us, say no politely most of the time, however many of us become very annoyed and frustrated with the persistent requests. Following is some very straightforward advice on how to get people to leave you alone!

With the trials and tribulations of Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Ritchie and others finally Americans have taken notice of a far to engrossing and cult like fascination with celebrities. This pervasive feeling of friendship with the celebrity and the willingness to care what car they drive and clothes they wear focuses our intellectual energy onto something utterly insignificant.

I don't profess to be the authority in celebrity events, nor do I want to be but while sitting with my girlfriend the other day I peered over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of Nicole Richie's mugshot.

As I leaned in closer to get a better view, I mistakenly hit my chin on my girlfriends shoulder. She replied "What you like Nicole Richie now?" to which I responded being the quick thinking lawyer that I am, "No, I was just assessing her legal situation and wanted to get a closer look."
